It's been a busy 4 months since I last posted pics on this blog site! Here are orders that I have completed. I still have several more jobs to do, and hopefully, I will have them done before summer begins. My goal is to get a jump on Christmas this summer.

Since we haven't had power since Saturday, I have been busy painting! Ashley wanted a necklace holder, my sister wanted a sign for her bedroom, Courtney had some crosses for me to paint, and I worked on some chalkboards to sell. Back to painting.....................

Kristy bought this old metal chair and got a deal at $20! This is the before..............

This is the after! I sanded the rusty spots and painted the back of the chair and legs an almond color. The seat and steps are a barn red. The sides are painted a sage green. These are the colors in her kitchen.

Meagan, Lindsey's friend, just finished redoing her bedroom, and she wanted a board to match her bedding. She painted her walls khaki, and painted some furniture too. I will have to get her to take a pic of her finished room to post.

This is the first time I have painted on MDF. I like it! It's surface is smooth and easy to paint on. These paintings are for Casee and Justin's baby, Jace Thomas Davis, who is due in September. Casee is going to mount these on boards covered with the fabrics shown.

I scanned these pics, because these photos were lost on a bad hard drive. I did these paintings a few years ago. The high chair was my first furniture project. Thanks, Sherry for getting me started. The toy box is for Sherry's grandson. The step stool was a birthday gift for my nephew. I painted the girly table for Brandie's daughter for Christmas, and the western table and chairs was for Linda to put in her husband's photography studio.

Ashley's desk

I purchased this desk and a chair for 30 dollars and painted it to match Ashley's black and white room for school. The desk is that French Provincial stuff that many of us girls had in our rooms when we were growing up. It was an offwhite color before. After some sanding and priming, I was able to start the fun stuff!

Another birthday canvas.

I painted this desk for a little cowboy to play school.
Ornaments like this were in a magazine for over $16! I painted lots of these for neat gifts. My mother-in-law bought a plethora of clear ornaments for me to paint for next Christmas. I'll have to start looking for ideas early.

Candy Wrappers

I began candy wrapping when Ashley was graduating. I bought the program to make favors with her picture on the wrappers. These are great for showers, weddings, birthday parties, etc. These wrappers are for a baptism.

Cross Craze

Last year Lisa and I caught the cross craze from Canton! These crosses were everywhere in Canton and we bought lots of unfinished ones to paint. We went wild making these and sold them at the Holiday sale at the country club.

Dr. Seuss is the theme for this chair. A teacher is using it in her classroom.

This birthday banner is made of canvas and can hold up to 10 birthday candles with velcro. The other 9 candles are secured to the back with a velcro strip.

These are cheese boxes! Shirley wanted me to paint them for her grandkids for Valentine's Day. This is the Carley I painted the ladybug lamp for.

I painted these nightstands for a customer in Centerville. She told me she purchased several pieces for $100. One of the drawers had a training union lesson book from the early 70's from a baptist church! (Training Union is what we used to call Sunday night church) The nightstands were for her sons' rooms.

Turning something old into something new

This chair had about 7 coats of paint that needed to be removed before it was painted again. The table had a formica wood grain top that I sanded and primed. The customer wanted a table that would match the wall art she bought in Canton.

I painted this chair for Sonja to go in her classroom. It is a nice, big, comfortable rocker.

I painted this table top for another teacher who was getting her room ready for her first year to teach.
This table was made for my grandparents in the early eighties. It is solid pine and had just a polyurethane coating on it. My brother inherited it and I painted it a western theme for their screen in back porch.

Baby Stuff

I just took this old bed and sanded it to rough it up a bit and then painted the ends.

This rocking chair was the mom's when she was a little girl. The two matching pieces were a surprise for a baby shower. The baby's dad is an avid duck hunter, that is why the saying is on the bench.
This lamp was purchased at the Dollar Store! It was a pewter color, but Carly's nursery was done in ladybugs, so Grammie wanted a ladybug lamp.
